Vanished Web Series 2026: Release Date, Episodes & Plot Details

Vanished (2026) is a gripping four-part mystery thriller series set to become one of the most talked-about streaming releases of early 2026. Co-produced by MGM+ and Prime Video, the series stars Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin in a tense psychological drama set against the stunning backdrops of France.

The story follows Alice Monroe and her boyfriend Tom Parker as they embark on what should be a romantic vacation through Paris and southern France. However, the dream trip quickly turns into a nightmare when Tom mysteriously disappears from a moving train en route to Arles. With no clear witnesses and mounting questions, Alice begins a desperate search that uncovers shocking secrets about the man she thought she knew.

What sets Vanished apart is its emotional depth. Rather than relying solely on action, the series explores themes of trust, identity, and betrayal. As Alice digs deeper, the mystery becomes less about finding Tom and more about discovering whether his entire identity is a lie. The show masterfully blends romance with suspense, creating an unsettling “Euro-noir” atmosphere.

The series is directed by Barnaby Thompson and written by Preston Thompson, both known for character-driven storytelling. Kaley Cuoco also serves as an executive producer, marking another significant step in her transition from comedy to darker, dramatic roles. Sam Claflin delivers a compelling performance as a man who may be either a victim—or something far more dangerous.

Vanished will premiere on February 1, 2026, on MGM+ in the United States with weekly episodes. International viewers in the UK, Canada, and Australia can binge all four episodes on Prime Video starting February 27, 2026. With its tight episode count, cinematic visuals, and strong performances, Vanished promises a suspenseful, emotionally charged viewing experience.
